Write about a truth you were afraid to accept

 Writing Prompt: One truth I was afraid to accept was when my grandma passed away. It seems easy when you see things like that in movies, but completely different in real life. Although in my mind I knew what death meant, I always had the mindset that it wasn't going to happen to my family. It took me approximately 6 months to admit she was gone and let it process through me head. Until this day I miss her, but being able to accept the truth adds peace in my heart, my soul, and be able to help people find peace (my family).


Summary: Today in class, we began to read the drama book out loud. 


Reflection: Today I learned around the characteristics and personality of someone of the characters in the drama book fence.

 Writing Prompt: A time when I felt completely lost was when my grandmother passed away. In my culture, we value our grandmothers. She passed away during COVID due to heart failure. The reason I felt completely lost was that my mother was never home due to her work, as she was both the woman and the man of the house. Although my siblings were there, my grandma was my mother too. It felt like my whole heart was ripped from my chest. I did not eat for a few days; I did not want to leave myself room. I fell into depression. All I can do is stare and zone out.
