What did you do over the break?

Writing prompt: The whole break I stayed home and I didn't really do much. However, each day was something new to do. Recently I just moved into a house instead of an apartment so there was so much unpacking to do. Monday, I focused on unpacking my clothes from boxes. I ordered food to the new place, it was something calm and enjoyable. Tuesday was getting to know the neighborhood. I rode around the scooter to explore the things around me. Wednedsday was organizng the bathroom. I have so many make-up supplies and other stuff I need, so I focused on organizing everything for the day. In the process I organized my sister's and mom's things too. Thursday was the toughest day, I learned how to mow the lawn. It was very difficult, mostly having to control the lawn mower. Friday was my rest day, I slepted it longer than usual and enjoyed my day with food and snacks while watching a show called "The Umbrella Academy". Saturday and Sunday (the weekends) I am usually a busy bird. I had some things to do for church and some things as a family. Although I wouldnt ssay my weekends was super active, it was definently needed and I made it enjoyable in the process.

 Writing Prompt: Growing up, it was mandatory, according to my mom, to serve in our church. There were many options I could have done so, but my mom thought dancing was for me. Describe a time when you felt completely lost

 Writing Prompt: A time when I felt completely lost was when my grandmother passed away. In my culture, we value our grandmothers. She passed away during COVID due to heart failure. The reason I felt completely lost was that my mother was never home due to her work, as she was both the woman and the man of the house. Although my siblings were there, my grandma was my mother too. It felt like my whole heart was ripped from my chest. I did not eat for a few days; I did not want to leave myself room. I fell into depression. All I can do is stare and zone out. It was like that for about 2-3 months. I've never witnessed or been through a loss in my family, so it took a big toll on me. Till this day, I still feel like a piece of me left and died within me, but I did find peace in the darkness. Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone

 Writing prompt: One moment I had to step out of my comfort zone was to help my niece's friends shower. They were having a sleepover, and normally, before bed, they would take a shower. I normally shower my niece; however, since she had her friend. I had to shower her as well. I told my brother id she could do it, but she was busy cooking dinner. So, I helped the little girl shower. It was definitely a big No for me, but at the same time, it was a sacrifice I was willing to make.  Summary: Today in class, we finished our project. Reflection: Stepping out of your comfort zone is okay sometimes. I say this because when you step out of your comfort zone, you're putting yourself in a position you've never been in before. It can either go well or not. However, you at least now know.
