Reflect on a time when you or someone you know had to choose between fitting in and staying true to their identity; what was gained or lost in that experience?

Writing prompt: When I used to be with my friend Alondra, she definitely struggled with fitting in and staying true to her identity. However, I feel like influences got in the way of her choosing. There isn't a right or wrong answer; however, in her case, she should have chosen stay true to herself rather than fitting in. Fitting in made her struggle physically and mentally. One thing that she tried fitting in with was the way she dressed. Nowadays, girls dress very flashy and with a lot of makeup. Now I see someone different. She lost a lot of hate and gain prase. However, that only lasted a few because she got used to fitting in a certain type and time changes style and preferences. She lost me aswell because I also felt like, because of her, I was slowly moving into tht dirrection.

Summary: Today in class, we started our group projects.

Reflection: Today I learned the difference between assimilation and resistance.
