What is the best piece of advice of that your parent or guardian has given you? Tell what the advice was and what prompted you to ask the question.
Writing prompt: I always dealt with friendship problems. It got to the point where it was mentally draining and I couldn't handle it on my own anymore. So I spoke with my instructor, Sergeant Cruver, about how I get this weight off my shoulders in a way it wont effect the person. I tend to just deal with bad friends because I don't know how to get ride of them. So he gave me some advice. You know you have a good friend if you pour into their cup and they pour back into you. Sometimes, you put and pout and pout until your empty. When your empty they keep asking for more, but how? It gets tiring to pour sometimes because you have other things you have to worry about. If something like that happens, it is best to let go. If there is no growth, there is no point. It's okay to have a good heart and give people second chances. However, there is a certain point where you just have to let go. Until this day, I carry his advice with me. It hurt to let go a specific friend I had, she never poured back into me. So I surrounded myself with people who will.
