Reflect on the simile and metaphor worksheet. Which topic challenged you the most when creating your figurative language, and why? In your response, explain what made that topic difficult and how you worked through the challenge (or what you might do differently next time).

Writing prompt: The topic that was difficult for me to do was comparison to other. On the daily, I feel compared to other people. It is mostly done at home. I understand why, however, it is something I deeply dislike. Whenever I am being compared to someone (My sibling) I tend to zone out and try to push it down as much as possible. So, it was very difficult for me to write how I am always being compared to my sister. It makes me feel misunderstood, not heard, and overall unappreciated of me. However, writing about it helped me acknowledge it and having to think about, so what? So what I am bring compared to?

Summary: Today in class I was not present, I was on a field trip!

Reflection: Today I learned what others have said about me, how they really have a huge impact towards my life.
