Describe a time you couldn’t stop laughing.

 Writing prompt; have you ever have that moment where you’re laughing with the people around you and you say something in the lines of I will always remember this moment because of how hard I laugh? It happens to me all the time. If I had to recall a moment where I could not stop laughing, this is the time. I am a very clumsy person, so there is never a time where I don’t trip. I was hiking up Stone Mountain with my friend, and I was trying to be cautious about where I would step. However, because I was super focused on that I ended up tripping. What was funny was not me tripping, but it was the way my friend was laughing about it. There are certain people that have a contagious laugh and I’m one of them. In addition, my friend Is one too. In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?

 Writing prompt; I feel like I experienced beauty and danger when it comes to my friends. They have been the most biggest life lessons I’ve ever had. To be honest, most of the experiences were negative, but I take those things and move forward. Whether it’s because they weren’t being realistic, or treated me fairly or valued my own opinion, It took me a long time to realize it. I had one specific friend where I just let myself get stepped on each time. It was when I was able to realize what manipulation was. And it’s hard for me to continue sometimes and make new friends because I feel a sort of paranoia. I don’t want to automatically assume someone’s manipulating me or anything else just because of how long I Had to deal With my friend. When I was able to realize she didn’t wanna be my Friend, but just wanted somebody to say things she wanted to hear and do things she wanted to do. What do you know about your birth?

 Writing Prompt:based on what I know about my birth, it was Definitely difficult for my mother. Since my father was not present, She didn’t have that support. My mom had six kids, However, two of them were C-section. Her first child was and her last child was. Since I am the last child, she had to get a C-section for me to Come out. My mom struggled with depression and disassociation. Although between the time of her being at the hospital until I was born with short, She was alone. My father showed up after I was born to give me my name and sign my Birth certificate. I was named after my mom because he liked her name.  Summary; Today in class, we worked on our one pager Reflection; today I learned more about analyzing poems. 

What did you do over the break?

Writing prompt: The whole break I stayed home and I didn't really do much. However, each day was something new to do. Recently I just moved into a house instead of an apartment so there was so much unpacking to do. Monday, I focused on unpacking my clothes from boxes. I ordered food to the new place, it was something calm and enjoyable. Tuesday was getting to know the neighborhood. I rode around the scooter to explore the things around me. Wednedsday was organizng the bathroom. I have so many make-up supplies and other stuff I need, so I focused on organizing everything for the day. In the process I organized my sister's and mom's things too. Thursday was the toughest day, I learned how to mow the lawn. It was very difficult, mostly having to control the lawn mower. Friday was my rest day, I slepted it longer than usual and enjoyed my day with food and snacks while watching a show called "The Umbrella Academy". How do you find time to enjoy your day, even when you have a lot going on? Write about at least three specific things you do to enjoy small moments throughout your day.

 Writing prompt: The way I find time to enjoy my day, even when I have a lot going on, is by surrounding myself with people I know will brighten up my day. In a way, I get to release some stress and put my mind back together. Not only is it beneficial for me, but also seeing people smile makes me feel better. I'm not necessarily a people pleaser, but I do enjoy seeing a smiling face because it lets me know I'm doing something right as a person. Another thing is listening to music. I like many genres, but depending on the mood, or when I'm stressed, listening to music eases my stress and anxiety. Finally, I also try my best or just go out and buy food or a snack. Sometimes all you need is a snack to release stress as well. Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone

 Writing prompt: One moment I had to step out of my comfort zone was to help my niece's friends shower. They were having a sleepover, and normally, before bed, they would take a shower. I normally shower my niece; however, since she had her friend. I had to shower her as well. I told my brother id she could do it, but she was busy cooking dinner. So, I helped the little girl shower. It was definitely a big No for me, but at the same time, it was a sacrifice I was willing to make.  Summary: Today in class, we finished our project. Reflection: Stepping out of your comfort zone is okay sometimes. I say this because when you step out of your comfort zone, you're putting yourself in a position you've never been in before. It can either go well or not. However, you at least now know. 

Write about a dream that felt real.

 Writing prompt: One dream I remember clearly was that I was pregnant. Now, of course, that is very weird and interesting, but it felt so real. I can feel my womb moving around and growing. The dream was that I was pregnant and I was ready to give life to a child. That whole process was not shown. But it skipped to being in a nursery and having the child in my hands. It felt like the most precious thing, and it felt like my life was complete. Reflecting on this dream, I know I was a kid in the future. It is my dream to become a mother and cherish it.  Summary: We finished reading the last chapter of Fences, and we are proceeding to work on our group project. Reflection: Today, I learned that whenever you're ready, only you will know when it is time to forgive. Of course, I don't think it should be until the person has passed away. However, it is more like sometimes you just have to let it go. 

Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

 Writing prompt: Growing up, I was a very introverted kid. I would get bullied a lot by my peers due to that quitness. They would call me things like weirdo and freak. It started very young, when I first entered my schooling, kindergarten. It lasted all the way up till 8th grade (after the pandemic). IT was where I found myself and knew that those words were not true. Growing up, those words got vulgar and vulgure and more upsetting. Now I have overcome them. It was difficult to because part of that is accepting who I was and proving everyone wrong.  Summary: Today in class, we presented our projects.  Reflection: Seeing everyone's project made me understand more about each character in the book Fences. Not only in the sense of why they are how they are, but more into how society also shaped them into who they are.

Write about a conversation that changed you.

 Writing prompt: A conversation that changed me was when I was in 8th grade, I was in chorus. My chorus teacher would talk about musicals, vocal warm ups, and many more. My favorite thing was watching the musicals itself. One day I bothered to ask why do musicals exist? What’s the point? My chorus teacher proceeds to tell me his favorite quote that I apply to now and is my favorite as we ll.  "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel" - Maya Angelou Summary: Today in class we finished reading fences and started working on our character analysis project. Reflection: Today I learned more about the meaning fences and how it was applied to the drama book. 

In August Wilson’s Fences, Troy Maxson’s secret affair hurts his family, showing the pain of broken trust. Imagine your close friend, who is in a happy long-term relationship, tells you they are secretly seeing someone else. They ask you not to tell their partner and promise to fix it soon. You also care about their partner and want to keep both friendships strong. Prompt: What would you do: tell your friend to confess, tell their partner yourself, or stay quiet? Explain your choice, using ideas about loyalty and consequences from Fences. How might your decision affect everyone involved?

 Writing prompt:  If my close friend told me they were secretly seeing someone else, I would tell them to confess to their partner. In fences ,  Troy hides his affair, and when the truth comes out, it breaks Rose’s trust and damages the whole family. This shows that secrets only cause more pain over time. Telling my friend to be honest shows real loyalty, helping them do what’s right instead of hiding their mistake. If I told their partner myself, I’d betray my friend, but if I stayed quiet, I’d be part of the lie. Encouraging them to confess gives them a chance to take responsibility and rebuild trust. It might hurt at first, but like in  Fences , the truth is the only way to prevent even deeper pain later. Summary: Today in class we continued to work on our character analysis project . Reflection: Today I learned more about rose's character and how misunderstood she was in the story. 

Write about something that you believed as a child.

 Writing Prompt: one thing I believed as a child was that my hair grows from the tips than the scalp. No one in my family ever bothered to tell me or correct me. Although it would seem very cool if it did, it made sense to me when my 6th grade teacher told me my hair grows from the scalp instead of the tips. It was one interesting and u forgettable conversation. Summary: Today in class, we continued reading Fence, Act 1, Scene 3. Then we looked at poem and analyzed it,  Reflection: Today I learned more about Cory’s character.
